It was also where Bruce entered into a deep friendship with Filipino American martial artist Dan Inosanto and an extended engagement with the Filipino fighting arts.

Come celebrate Bruce’s 85th birthday and the beginning of a powerful relationship where it all began!

Bel Canto Books is delighted to celebrate WATER MIRROR ECHO: BRUCE LEE AND THE MAKING OF ASIAN AMERICA by Jeff Chang, in conversation with Dr. Bernard Remollino (PANCHO VILLA: WORLD CHAMPION 1923).

This event will be held outdoors at AMBITIOUS ALES (4019 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach CA). Ambitious Ales is a family- and dog-friendly brewpub.

In honor of this occasion, we are offering both books for sale.

Each copy of Water Mirror Echo from Bel Canto Books you order from now through November will also include a signed bookplate and an exclusive, limited-edition, signed and hand-numbered art card while supplies last!
