Join the McKnight Foundation on June 9 for a free event with cultural historian, activist, and author Jeff Chang and Aaron Johnson-Ortiz, director and founder of (Neo)Muralismos de México.
The night includes:
➙ conversation about how immigrants and refugee of color artists and culture bearers have always catalyzed, influenced, and been leaders in American culture.
➙ insight on Jeff’s new acclaimed book, “Water Mirror Echo: Bruce Lee and the Making of Asian America.”
➙ poetry performances by Nimo Farah and Kevin Yang.
Free and Open to the Public.
No Registration Necessary. General Seating (First come, first served.)
Black Garnet Books will have some of Jeff’s books available for purchase, and constitutional observers will be on site, thanks to the @immigrantdefensenetwork.
