November 23, 2025
Free – $20
Asian Art Museum 200 Larkin Atreet
San Francisco, CA 94102 United States

The Asian Art Museum presents Bruce Lee Day!

Featuring screenings of “Enter The Dragon” and “The Big Boss,” art-making and screen printing, storytelling for the kids, and an author talk and podcast recording of Worst Quality Crab with Jeff Chang!

Enjoy an unprecedented look at Bruce Lee’s life and legacy with Jeff Chang, celebrated author of the new biography “Water Mirror Echo: Bruce Lee and the Making of Asian America.” Chang approaches Lee with “the diligence of a scholar and the propulsive energy of a fan,” says a New York Times review praising “Water Mirror Echo” as an “exuberant” and “entertaining account of Lee’s life and times.” “Water Mirror Echo” traces Lee’s trailblazing impact beyond the world of celebrity and entertainment, emphasizing his game-changing visibility as an Asian American icon: “In the States,” Chang writes, “no one who looked like him had ever been seen.”
